Human First. Therapist Second.
I work in a way that’s warm, grounded and direct. I’m not here to analyse you from a distance or rush you towards answers that don’t quite fit yet. I’m willing to sit with you in the difficult bits, help you talk things through, and stay with whatever needs attention.
The work is collaborative. We take things at your pace, paying attention to what’s actually helping and what isn’t. Some sessions might feel steady, others messier. Both are welcome.
If you’re ready to look at things honestly, without being pushed or fixed, we may work well together.
A bit more about me.
Before retraining as a therapist, I spent nearly 15 years working as a London-based creative copywriter and journalist. I loved the work, and it often felt validating, but I began to notice that what stayed with me most were the conversations I'd had. Listening to people talk through their experiences, share parts of their lives, and make sense of what was happening for them felt deeply engaging. I wanted to know more, and essentially, I was drawn to help.
With that in mind, I signed up for a small evening course in counselling. That quickly grew into a deeper commitment, years of training, and eventually a new career. I’m a registered member of the BACP and hold a CPCAB Level 4 qualification, with ongoing postgraduate training.
I'm still a creative at heart, and writing is still very much part of my life. I still love working with language and noticing how words shape meaning. It’s often where I find clarity, especially first thing in the morning.
